NEEHU6: A Preface and Thursday

I’m going to preface all talk of NEEHU6 by mentioning that I was feeling pretty introverted and disinterested in crowds throughout the entire weekend, while still wanting to be around people.  I very much looked forward to NEEHU, to seeing so many rarely-seen familiar faces, online voices, and online personalities, both that I’ve met at former *EEHUs and the ones I only have known from online conversations and discussions.  But from the very first moment, I would’ve also been fine with sticking myself in a corner and just listening for about 50% - 75% of the entire event, as long as I got to see these awesome people.

I both wanted to be involved, help out, and not have to be involved, if that makes sense?

I always recommend anyone that goes to NEEHU, or any other *EEHU: If your schedule can afford it, arrive by Thursday evening, wait until Monday morning at earliest to leave (even if it’s first thing in the morning, if you’re far from home), and give yourself time after arriving home to decompress and come to terms with returning to everyday life after an awesomely full, fun weekend.  Every 3-day con has a 4th day, know what I mean?  So I took Thursday to Monday entirely off this year, just for that… and there’ll be a blog entry for each day.

So, all the prefacing done…
(it’s okay, give yourself time for the whole song to run through your head, I understand)
MentalConfetti and I rushed around all Thursday morning, both of us procrastinators when it comes to packing, arriving somewhere between 1 and 2.  I intended on having lunch with whoever happened to already have arrived… buuuut no one was there, and the con organizer was out shopping for the con, so lunch just between MentalConfetti and I… maybe I shoulda planned ahead there and posted online… oh well, next time.

So some food and banter later, we arrive a little after 3ish, past check-in time, but the hotel was behind in refurnishing their rooms: they were fully booked the night prior AND they had almost a full changeover of reservations that afternoon, a big task for a hotel to be sure.  So… if I was impatient to get to my hotel room, this would suck, sure… but the lobby is fairly decently furnished with couches and seats, and majority of other people there waiting on rooms were other NEEHU folks, including a couple folks I regularly interacted with on HypBook, and a couple of people I met at previous *EEHUs but hadn’t seen since, and Lex (of Entrancement UK and a couple of blog platforms) whom I was interested in meeting, so I was fine.  I mostly sat back and relaxed, but it was good to casually interact with people I knew or knew of a little already.  Again, no pressure to interact, but not pushed away either, basically right where I wanted to be at that time (and as it turns out: most of the weekend).

And as I sat back waiting for a room key along with various other NEEHU6 attendees, Mephki (NEEHU con organizer, for those unfamiliar) and a couple of others came down: the infamous Costco run was about to begin, and MentalConfetti got recruited in (I tease, she did volunteer to be part of it).  I call it “infamous,” but honestly, ideally 6 people could handle it well if they split up to tackle more ground, with Mephki double checking items picked up toward the end… it could be fairly simple…  But regardless, with lots of things to pick up, it needs a decent number of people to handle it, but too many gets to requiring herding of very distractible (NEEHU5 had 8 people, it got a bit hectic, + a diabetic crashing), tired people in a bulk-oriented supermarket, basically.  This year was in the smaller number in four people doing the Costco run, so fewer people to handle the lots of items.  Let’s just say people got back from that run tired, and it took some time, and there was more to do after.  A couple more people helping next time, and more process improvement upfront in splitting where people go next time, that’s all I’m saying.  Thank you to those that took part.

Banter plus Banter and a Little More Banter

So Confetti took off for the Costco run while I stuck around awaiting my room key and resting… my shoulder was in pain from earlier and needed it anyway (shoulder's still bugging me even now, blaaahhh)… so around half an hour after they left for the Costco run, a few of us got our rooms, including myself, and after chit chatting about random stuff with Lex for a bit (his site, Doctor Who, what we each like and dislike about the modern series, etc., and no, it IS impossible to go to an *EEHU and avoid any Doctor Who banter), I also passed out in my room on my own for an hour or two before coming down for dinner.  My girl was still out helping with the Costco run for most of the dinner period, but I got to hang out with Lex, Maestro, Daja, and I believe Wiseguy and his wife had appeared around this time, as well, and other people whose online names I’m not familiar with.  I know I’m forgetting folks, sorry.

A couple of highlights from dinner conversations:
  • Lex’s phone replacing the word “people” with “peons” when telling lizzidoll that he was conversing with the people(peons) at the hotel.
  • Daja very much looking forward to seeing SpiralTurquoise, both ecstatic and impatient (because long-distance love does that when you’re about to see them for a full weekend, definitely familiar with the feeling).
  • Teasing about hypnotic voices, and how they can just… affect people… yesssss, tooootally unintentionally… *snap snap snap* up up up!  Followed by a back-and-forth similar to...
“Oh don’t worry about that, you don’t have my consent yet so I won't let it work.”
    “So is there consent?”
    “[At this table?] Oh definitely!”
*two or three hypnotists lean in* “Oh reeeeaaaaally…?

Sometime toward the end of the complimentary hotel dinner (Mon-Thurs only, unfortunately), the Costco run volunteers returned for some dinner themselves, to gulp down food before rushing out to wait at the venue of the actual event, The Society of Connecticut.  They had a full, long night, all I’m saying.  In addition to what I already said.

So in the meantime, even after the dinner food was put away, the hotel was comfortable with us chit chatting for as long as we wanted in the cafeteria area, and more and more people were forming around the one small circle table.  Initially 4-6 people, now the table had surrounded by around 10-15 people, I believe…  At least 2 “rows” of people chit chatting amongst each other (including people entirely new to anyone in the erotic hypnosis community, still feeling awkward not knowing anyone yet).  A couple of us eventually looked around, noticed all of the people surrounding a single small table, and we were like “Umm, there is the volunteer/con suite available for our use… do we want to continue chit chat and games up there, rather than surrounding one small table?”  And with that, we paraded to and crowded into the hotel elevator to the top floor for the volunteer suite.  A few people played a game around the suite’s table, one of the games from a box of games one of the con attendees promised to bring.  It was fun to watch later on, actually.  But aside from that, a bunch of us just sat back in the L shaped couch of the suite.  A couple people lightly played in the corner, though I was conversing too much to take note of details aside from people involved… though I saw a little person-puppetry out of the corner of my eye.  Another person with a black and blue shirt was teased about having a white and gold shirt… of course it was the one person who interacts with people online who hadn’t yet heard of the black+blue/white+gold dress meme.  And a photographer then went on a tear about how it’s just an over-exposed photo and about what colors the clothing is supposed to be that they’re pretty sure they see as a photographer (thus knowing what lighting and contrast would be best), not as someone just taking a picture at face-value.  I’m just going to leave this here…

Now the Fun Begins, Mwahaha...

And a good hour or so later, I got a message from one of the girls that was going to be rooming with me.  Ya see, MentalConfetti and I would share a bed, and the couch, a sofa bed, was intended to be taken by two girls I’d played with in the past.  Was I looking forward to just the rooming situation?  Maaayyybe slightly… a good bit… okay yes.  The first girl, Katrina, had arrived.  I’ll briefly skip ahead to mention that the other girl switched to being in a room with someone she was closer friends with, and I was fine with fewer people rooming in general while still being in the company of my girl and a local play partner of mine, so it was just MentalConfetti, Katrina, and I.

I had been very much looking forward to playing with Katrina for about a month or so at this point.  She was consistently busy for a long while, definitely deserved the break, and we have good chemistry.  So Katrina was about to get teased like crazy for our (my) amusement.  As I teasingly whispered things in her ear whole way up to my room, a gentle brush of my hand here and there, a raking of my nails along the back of that neck, a quick, silent few moments of looking into her eyes to get the point across of just what this weekend would do to her, so to speak.  She definitely got the message.  But you know, I felt she needed more details… so I make a show of closing the door behind me, looking back to her from the door with a grin, teasing her as soon as she puts down her bags.  A touch and caress here, a grope there, a whisper about all goosebumps along the skin, a hot breath and a shudder, a content sigh...  Whispering things in her ear the whole way, and triggering a few automatic responses she has specifically with me… having her reaffirm that she’s my good girl, that I am Sir, that she loves to serve, that kind of thing.  Hmm… nope, not enough details in that message, I don’t think, so I walk her over to the window of the hotel room, and pressing her softly up against the cold window, a gasp from her lips, as I ask about what people might see from the parking lot if they were to look up (our window pointed toward the back of the lot, and it was late, so no one was there to look, but those details don’t matter while you’re in the moment, do they?).  Pressing up against her backside, moving her as though she were to be fucked from behind, against that window, triggering a few more of those automated responses mentioned before between gasps, whispering about what it’d be like to be taken, right then, right there… a good minute or so of this, which believe me, felt like longer time had stretched out for me, too, not just her… then backing away from the window and giving her a bit of space to breathe and parse through the experience that had just occurred, seeing the expression on her face of if she was frustrated that I don’t even have to try, or that I stopped.  Both, definitely both… but more that I had stopped.  Soon after, catching eye contact once again, I beckon her to me silently with an obvious smug smirk that I know she notices, and she comes to me as silently instructed.

It’s obvious she wanted me to play with her “however I want” (within reason) at that point.  But after slowly stroking under her chin briefly, I start to talk with her more casually in a banter kind of manner and more quickly pet along her back a couple times before looking about the hotel, pointing out where she can put some of her stuff, intentionally shifting the tone and headspace, partly as a tease, partly to let her clear her head of fuzziness, and partly because, to quote some of my teasing, I “have all weekend to get deeper into her head.”  After a touch of conversation, she lets me know that she’ll need to figure out some time this weekend to get some headway on schoolwork, so I suggest she get started on that now, unsure she’d get another opportunity before Monday.  I left her to it and went back to the volunteer suite.

So hanging around the volunteer suite for a short time, nothing much to mention there for the night, fun banter, interesting games, and Confetti around this time returns from organizing kitchen stuff at The Society, and goes directly back to the hotel room to pass out, already aware that Katrina had arrived.  And it’s maybe half an hour later that I return to my room, lounging around a little while, stretching my back over one of those foot rest/seat things the hotel room had, all before sitting closely next to Katrina when she seemed to be mostly paying attention to NEEHU scheduling stuff to tease her briefly about her servitude, as all the while she did a damn good job of putting together her organized list of ideal classes to go to in every hour time slot she wasn’t volunteering at on one sheet of paper.  This way, she could quickly know, if she’s feeling like going to a class, where she’s going at any particular time of the day without shuffling through multiple pages of stuff.  I got to say, it’s a decent system.  Though to ANY volunteer: I’m going to recommend that if you’re shown a volunteer schedule BEFORE the *EEHU, look over the volunteer schedule before the event, it lets you clear up issues long ahead of time, rather than sudden last minute scrambling and stress on your part, ya know?  Avoids issues like being accidentally scheduled to volunteer for 75% of the con when you wanted to attend classes or be with your loved ones, you know?

It wasn’t long after that that we all passed out for the night, ready for some good fun to happen the next day.

Coming up next! Friday, Kinky Human Tricks co-presentation, Ethics roundtable talks, and various topics to consider and think about and talk amongst yourself and aloud about…
